2. Coordination and Monitoring of Unity and Reconciliation Programs
- Monitoring the functioning of unity and reconciliation forums at the village level.
- Monitoring the activities of unity and reconciliation mobilizers at the cell level.
- Monitoring unity and reconciliation forums at the sector level.
- Promoting unity and reconciliation principles through district-level forums and supporting the welfare of “Abarezi b’Igihango” (Guardians of the Pact).
- Monitoring the activities of “Abarezi b’Igihango” from the district to the cell level.
3. Monitoring the Functioning of the National Itorero Program in Local Government and Associated Groups
- Monitoring Itorero at the village level.
- Monitoring Itorero programs in schools.

- Monitoring Urugerero (community service) at the village level.
- Monitoring Urugerero conducted through Ingando (solidarity camps).
4. Culture, Youth, and Sports
- Promoting youth talent development (talent detection).
- Promoting and strengthening a culture of sports among different population groups.
- Promoting culture and organizing activities related to the commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and combating genocide ideology.
- Fighting drug abuse among youth and monitoring rehabilitation programs.
5. Promotion of Gender Equality and Family Development
- Conducting inspections of the “Evening for Parents” (Umugoroba w’Umuryango) program.
- Establishing and monitoring strategies to prevent domestic violence.
- Supporting and reintegrating victims of gender-based violence and human trafficking.
