Below are the services provided by this Department:
The Finance Department manages the financial resources of the District. It is also responsible for the district budget, monitoring financial management, and tracking the sources of district revenue.
The officer responsible for budget preparation and implementation monitors the day-to-day execution of the budget to ensure that it is properly implemented.
Officers responsible for district asset and financial management are in charge of processing and paying invoices submitted to the District.
To improve the collection of taxes and fees assigned to Local Government entities, a partnership has been established with the Rwanda Revenue Authority to support Local Government institutions in this process.
The District Tax Officer ensures that taxpayers comply with their obligations and follows up with those who fail to pay properly.

b) Providing assistance and advice on procurement procedures
c) Receiving tender documents from bidders
d) Communicating the results of the tender evaluation to bidders
e) Facilitating the signing of contracts with successful bidders
f) Issuing a certificate of satisfactory completion of works
